Lakeland Branch NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet

 

LAKELAND, Fla., Jan. 15, 2012 – In recognition of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), your local Lakeland Branch NAACP will celebrate its 103rd Anniversary Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, February 11, 2012, 6:00 p.m. at the Apostle Henry Ross Sr. Family Center,1302 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave, Lakeland, FL 33805.

The mission of the Lakeland Branch NAACP is to ensure political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. This year’s speaker will be Lisa Womack, Chief of Police for the City of Lakeland.

Tickets are $75 per person, which will include a one-year individual membership in the Lakeland Branch of the NAACP for those who wish to be members.
