Officer Arnulfo Crispin - Badge #267 - EOW: 12/21/11

Lakeland Police Officer Arnulfo Crispin was just 25 years old when he was shot in the line of duty on December 18, 2011. While on routine patrol he stopped 3 teenagers walking in the 2200 block of Crystal Grove Lane in Lakeland around 10:15 p.m. Shortly after stepping out of his cruiser to speak with the boys, he was shot. He later died from his injuries on December 21, 2011. Arnie, as his friends called him, was an 18-month veteran of the Lakeland Police Department and will forever be missed.

The US Honor Flag was flown over recovery efforts at Ground Zero. Since then, the flag has traveled overseas, to outer space, and many funeral services to honor those who have made a commitment to honor and serve their country and communities.
