The mission of the Lakeland Public Library is to make high quality public library services available in response to the pursuit of education, recreation and information.
The Lakeland Public Library offers materials to loan, programs for all ages and a variety of services. The library has been a member of the Polk County Library Cooperative since its inception in October of 1997.
Lakeland Public Library Hours of Operation
Main Location at Lake Morton
Monday through Thursday - 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday - 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Larry Jackson Branch Library
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
