Polk Transit Offers FREE RIDE program for
Youth this Summer. 

Registration runs through June 6, 2014.

Polk Transit and the cities of Lakeland and Winter Haven are teaming up to bring you the Youth of Summer Safety program. This will provide an opportunity for young adults, ages 12-18, residing within the city limits of Lakeland and Winter Haven unlimited ridership on all Polk Transit buses during normal operating hours for FREE!! (June 1st - August 31st) All you need to do is show proof of residency and pledge that you will play safe and smart this summer.

Simply fill out the Pledge card and registration and bring it to the Lakeland Police Department, Winter Haven Police Department or Simpson Park to receive your identification card. The card will allow youth to ride any fixed transit bus in Polk County to locations, such as restaurants, movies, Kelly Rec Center, The Skate Park, Simpson Park and more.
