| | On February 26, 2004, while at work, Fred Henderson and Gary Bence, Central Service employees, put out a fire in a City dumpster that had been used to discard dismantled wooden reels. Apparently, on the same day another employee had been using a torch to dismantle the reels, and without realizing it, had thrown a hot reel into the dumpster causing a fire to erupt. Due to Fred and Garys quick response, no person was injured and no property damage occurred.
Risk Management would like to commend Fred Henderson and Gary Bence for a job well done!
