National Night Out is a celebration of the partnership between the community and police departments around the nation. Here in Lakeland, it is a fun day/night centered around giving neighborhood crime a going away party, getting to know your neighbors and community, and this year promoting “See Something, Say Something!”

The 32nd Annual National Night Out celebration will take place on August 4, 2015. The Lakeland Police Department’s Community Services Unit (CSU) has taken the initiative to support this event with some new ideas in bringing communities together and placing more awareness on crime prevention.
