Volunteers needed for Project E.A.G.L.E.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the City of Lakeland Lakes & Stormwater division, and Keep Winter Haven Beautiful are hosting the 19th annual Project E.A.G.L.E. (Enhancing a Great Living Environment) community shoreline and litter cleanup event on April 30th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.  The City of Lakeland staging area will be at Lake Parker’s Sertoma Park (1800 E. Memorial Blvd.)  Volunteers may help clean the shoreline of Lake Parker, or clean the lake of their choice.  Volunteers will receive a Project E.A.G.L.E. t-shirt, and are invited to Lake Shipp Park for a hamburger lunch, provided by the Texas Cattle Company, and family fun activities from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
