CROWD CONTROL/SECURITY


An employee in this classification is responsible for securing and patrolling facilities in accordance with The Lakeland Center policies and specific event requirements, monitoring patron entrancing and exiting of facilities, preventing unauthorized objects entering facility, monitoring guests safety, maintaining building safety standards, maintaining crowd control, handling patron problems, preventing disruption of events in progress, securing restricted areas and guarding valuables and money. Starting Hourly Rate: $8.25

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN

An employee in this classification is responsible for administering first aid to guest of The Lakeland Center. Work involves administering emergency and basic first aid to guests or employees, maintaining safety standards, utilizing skilled knowledge of emergency policies and procedures, maintaining records of incidents/accidents, monitoring building/guests for safety standards, giving directions, adhering to building policies/procedures and specific event requirements, handling customer questions and complaints. Requires HS diploma and completion of certification for EMT or Paramedic licensing. Starting Hourly Rate: $16.00

FACILITY ATTENDANT

This is custodial and set-up/tear down work in the care, maintenance and event set-up at The Lakeland Center.

Work involves cleaning, other custodial work, maintenance and setting up of facilities and equipment in preparation for events in The Lakeland Center. Work is performed in accordance with established procedures and written or oral instructions on specific set-ups. Work is inspected by supervisors and lead personnel for compliance with established standards of cleanliness and compliance with set-up instructions.
Starting Hourly Rate: $7.75


PARKING STAFF/CASHIER

An employee in this classification would collect parking fees and works directly under the supervision of the Parking Supervisor I, II. Starting Hourly Rate: $7.50


PARKING STAFF/PATROL

An employee in this classification would direct traffic flow to designated areas and works directly under the supervision of the Parking Supervisor I, II. Starting Hourly Rate: $7.50

SKATE GUARD

This is responsible supervisory work involving scheduling employees for shifts and instructing skate guards in their assignment duties under the direction of the Public Ice Skating Supervisor. Duties include monitoring and enforcing on/off ice rules and regulations, monitoring ice and guest safety, giving directions, adhering to building policies/procedures and specific event requirements, and handling customer questions and complaints. Starting Hourly Rate: $7.50

STAGEHAND

This is work assisting in the stage productions at The Lakeland Center. Requires HS diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 months OJT or school training in at least one of the following: audio, stage lighting or theatre. Starting Hourly Rate: $11.00
