The City Commission has established three committees to provide ongoing citizen input in the review of housing and public services policy.

Interested in serving on a Board or Committee?  Please note that members must reside within Lakeland's city limits. 

The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) is responsible for reviewing policies and procedures, development regulations, the City's Local Housing Assistance Plan, and 5-Year Consolidated Plan and Strategy.

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) provides citizen participation in the development and implementation of community improvement programs, including recommendations for annual CDBG and General Fund grants to non-profit public service agencies.
