    Grant Application Cycle

    City of Lakeland
    Public Service Grants 2017-2018

    Applications for funding are now available to nonprofit organizations seeking to provide public service activities in the City of Lakeland.  The application cycles for 2017-2018 program year funding have been combined.  Both Federal CDBG and local general funds will be available from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.

    Applications must be received in the Neighborhood Services Division, 1104 Martin L. King, Jr. Avenue, Lakeland, Florida  33805, by 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017.  Late applications will not be accepted.

    The City of Lakeland awards approximately $160,000 annually to qualified nonprofit public service agencies and local government programs serving low to moderate income clients in the following categories...

    • Drug Abuse Counseling/Treatment
    • Education Program
    • Fair Housing Counseling
    • Health Care
    • Homeless Citizens Service
    • Public Safety Service
    • Recreation Program
    • Senior Citizens Service
    • Special Needs

    To qualify for funding, an agency must be tax exempt 501(c)(3).  View additional program information.
