Express Permitting

The Community & Economic Development Department is committed to providing residents with an exceptional quality of life and outstanding customer service. While the volume of permit applications has increased, we want to ensure our commitment to excellence by introducing Express Permitting, which aims to review specific permit applications in a 30-minute window during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

Express Permitting applies to permits categorized as:

• Demolition
• Residential/Commercial roofing including shingle, TPO, and modified bitumen only.
• Residential Electrical
• Residential Mechanical
• Residential Plumbing including irrigation
• Sewer Cap
• Window & Door Replacement (size for size)

Express Permit applications within historic districts or mobile homes do not apply.
