Inspection Scheduling & Requirements

Inspection Procedures

When a permit is issued for any work the required inspections for that job will be included and available for scheduling.  Most inspections are completed within 24 hours of the request.  Inspections may be scheduled in three different ways: through iMS, the IVR, and SelectTXT.

iMS

Inspections may also be scheduled 24/7 using iMS. Simply log in, select the permit for which you wish to schedule inspections, choose the inspection you need to schedule, and select the date you would like the inspection completed. Same-day inspection scheduling is available until 6:00 am.

Automated Call-In System: IVR System

The Automated Inspection Response System is an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system for callers to use a touch-tone telephone to schedule, inquire, or cancel inspections.

The IVR system can be reached by calling 863.226.1519 and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just have your permit number ready and follow the prompts to schedule the appropriate inspections.  Same-day inspection scheduling is available until 6:00 am.

 SelectTXT

SelectTXT is a fully integrated interactive messaging service. Inspections may also be scheduled 24/7.

The SelectTXT system can be reached by texting 877.667.1720 and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Just have your permit number ready and follow the prompts to schedule the appropriate inspections.  Same-day inspection scheduling is available until 6:00 am.
