Accessibility Survey

In addition to taking the survey, we invite you to join us for an ADA Self-evaluation & Transition Plan | Public Input Open House on February 19th.

More than 55 million Americans have disabilities; this includes people who became disabled while serving in the military. It is estimated that by the year 2030 approximately 71.5 million baby boomers will be over age 65, and will need services and surroundings that meet their age-related physical needs.

The City of Lakeland is working to ensure that citizens and visitors with disabilities are able to participate in its’ programs, services and events. In keeping with this ongoing effort, the City is seeking input from individuals with disabilities to help address and prioritize current and future accessibility needs. Input will also be welcomed from local businesses, agencies and organizations. Your comments and opinions are important to us and will provide valuable information regarding how the City can better serve individuals with disabilities.

Surveys will be collected until March 9, 2019

If an alternative format is needed, please contact the City’s ADA Specialist Jenny Sykes at 863.834.8444 or jenny.sykes@lakelandgov.net.
