City of Lakeland Water Education Center

at Se7en Wetlands

This property is a unique place where visitors from all over the State can learn about the importance of Florida's water resources and why wetlands are called 'Nature's kidneys'. After thirty years of successful operation as a Water Utility, Se7en Wetlands has had tremendous success as a new park complete with hiking trails, educational signage, and boardwalks overlooking wetland areas. The next goal is to open a Water Education Center to increase citizen engagement, outreach programs, and provide space for professional trainings to create skilled laborers.
