On Sunday, February 24, 2019, the Lakeland Chamber—and community partners—are hosting The Longest Table - Lakeland. This initiative, similar to other events held around the country, is designed to build unity and foster goodwill within a community.
On the afternoon of February 24, parts of Downtown will be blocked off and tables will be set up to accommodate hundreds of Lakeland citizens—from all walks of life—who will attend for the purpose of sharing a free meal together and engaging in meaningful conversation.
While this event is spearheaded by the Lakeland Chamber, it is not a usual Chamber fundraiser. With that said, we have an opportunity for you and your companies and organizations to give back to the community in a unique way.
