Haus 820 & Local Volunteering Events
- Haus 820 | Food Prep & Delivery, Community Cleanup, Appreciation Stations
***9/20 UPDATE*** Evenings shifts have been added:
Wednesday 9/20, 5 PM - 8 PM; Community Clean-up, please bring your own supplies and meet at Haus 820. Thursday & Friday, 4 PM - 6 PM Assembly 5 PM - 7 PM Delivery. Please sign up before spots fill up. Chop Shop and Vendors are donating and helping.
Haus 820 is serving as a volunteer hub in order to meet multiple needs throughout the Lakeland community, "Servicing food insecure families and facilitating community clean up due to Hurricane Irma including services to the following organizations: Breaking Bread Cafe, Dream Center of Lakeland, and reaching beyond city lines to outer lying Polk county areas."

Organizations Continually Seeking Volunteers
- United Way Fundraiser: "We Are Lakeland" T-Shirts
YLakeland and Team Hammer have partnered together to provide this shirt in an effort to raise money for hurricane relief efforts. All the proceeds generated from this sale will be donated to the United Way of Central Florida to rebuild Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties.
- United Way of Central Florida Hurricane Irma Relief Fund
The United Way of Central Florida has established a fund to help those who have been directly impacted by Hurricane Irma. This fund will facilitate the donation process for those interested in giving storm victims a hand up during this difficult time.
