Washburn Hotel
Description: The
Washburn Hotel was built in 1923 by Harry Washburn at a
cost of $125,000. It was located on South Tennessee Avenue
between Orange and Lemon Streets. Later known as the
Gilbert-Washburn Hotel, it was torn down in 1996
after having
been vacant for a number of years.
