CLEVELAND INDIANS
SPRING TRAINING COLLECTION

This collection contains material relating to the Cleveland Indians baseball team durIng the 1923 to 1927 period, when it held spring training in Lakeland, Florida.  Included are drafts of an article by Hal Hubener describing the team's experience in Lakeland. Also included are the issue of Tampa Bay History in which the final version of the article appeared, as well as photographs from the collections of the Cleveland State University Archives and Western Reserve Historical Society used to illustrate the published article.
