SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE 

In October of 1987 the church contacted NASA about adding something to a shuttle's payload.  The 102 member church choir made a recording of the song "Golden Dreams", which is the theme of EPCOT Center's American Pavilion at Walt Disney World.  The cassette was part of the official flight kit aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis, STS-36, February 28 through March 4, 1990.

The record group includes correspondence between the church and NASA, a list of choir members, newspaper articles, a photograph of the astronauts, and a copy of the cassette recording.
