Dragline SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE The Phosphate Industry had an immense economic impact on Lakeland and the surrounding towns in Polk County during the 20th Century. The collection contains brochures and educational pamphlets that explain the mining operations, uses, and reclamation of the mined land. We have several books on the subject and a few photographs.
