NORMAN A. RIGGINS FAMILY PAPERS RG1000
Margaret Darracott Pinkston, granddaughter of Norman A. Riggins, was the unofficial historian, biographer, and genealogist for the Riggins and Darracott families and their various offshoots. She compiled genealogies for the Riggins and Darracott families and collected genealogies compiled by members of branches of the family related to the Riggins and Darracotts. Most of the genealogies in this series appear in finished form in Pinkston's book, Mosswood Remembered. The records in this series are the results of Pinkston's efforts. Included are several drafts of the Darracott family genealogy, as well as those of the following families linked by kinship to the Darracotts: Almen, Blocker, Bragg, Hannah, Richardson, Riggins, Robeson, and Wingfield. The records in this series are arranged alphabetically by the name of the family and chronologically within folders.
