Historic Polk Theatre, South Florida Avenue

This series contains photographs depicting some of the historic structures of Lakeland, as well as photographs documenting Historic Lakeland's efforts to promote preservation of historic structures in the city. Among the former are photographs of the Lake Mirror Promenade, Lakeland High School, the Lakeland Yacht and Country Club, and the Polk Theatre. Among the latter are photographs documenting activities during Historic Preservation Week, home tours, and photographs of commercial and residential structures designated by Historic Lakeland as preservation award winners.

The photographs are arranged alphabetically by the subject of the photograph. Unidentified negatives are grouped together under the heading of "Negatives."
