The Special Services Bureau is staffed by two Captains, 4 Lieutenants, 10 Sergeants, 56 sworn officers, 45 civilian employees and 4 part-time positions. This bureau encompasses the Special Operations Division and the Support Services Division.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION
Community Services Section - This section is comprised of the School Resources Officers, Community Services Unit and the Police Athletic League (PAL).
Special Operations Section - This section is comprised of the Selective Enforcement Unit, Crash Investigations and Special Operations/DUI Enforcement.
Special Investigations Section - This section is comprised of Drug Enforcement, Organized Crime, Technical Services and the Community Response Teams.
SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION
General Services Section – This section is comprised of Planning & Research, Grants/Public Records Coordinator, Accreditation, Recruiting/Background Investigations, Fleet & Facilities, Training and the Quartermaster.
Public Safety Communications Center – This section consists of the Emergency Communications Center. There are 4 squads of telecommunicators that handle the calls for service into the 9-1-1 and non-emergency lines to the department, they are very instrumental in the performance of our department. These personnel are the initial point of contact for those who need police service.
