The Lakeland Police Department needs help to identify a person of interest in the Attempted Sexual Battery and False Imprisonment of a 61 year old female. 

On Monday, June 2, 2014, the subject pictured was seen on video surveillance just before a sexual battery which occurred at the Chevron Gas Station, located at 1315 US Highway 98 S.

The person is described as a black male, approximately 6’0-6’1, with a heavy build and muscular, wearing greenish or gray pants with an unknown type shirt. The victim described the person’s eyes as having an “odd color” as they appeared hazel or blue in color.

LPD Event #14-11407 Detective Tolbert

On May 1, 2014 at approximately 5:15 p.m., Lakeland Police responded to the Chevron station, located at 1615 W. Memorial Boulevard in reference to a shooting which had just occurred. Upon arrival officers located a 15 year old black male with a gunshot wound to the lower back. The juvenile has been airlifted to Tampa; his condition is unknown at this time.

Officers have been able to determine that the juvenile was standing outside of a car at the Chevron station when shots rang out from a small grey vehicle headed westbound on Memorial. Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.

Lakeland Police need to identify this suspect of one armed robbery with a knife and one attempted robbery with a knife that occurred on April 20, 2014, within minutes of each other. One robbery occurred at the 7-11, 3071 S. Road 98 and the other at the Grove Park Chevron, 1315 S. Rd 98, Lakeland. The robberies occurred between 6:00am and 7:00am.

In both robberies the suspect entered the stores with a shirt wrapped around his face, brandished a knife and demanded cash from the store clerk.  At the  7-11, the store clerk ran into the cooler and the suspect fled with no money. Minutes later, the suspect appeared at the Grove Park Chevron where the clerk gave the suspect cash and he fled on foot. The images were taken off the surveillance camera from the Grove Park Chevron. Neither victim was injured during the robbery.

The man is described as a white male, 5’08” to 5’11, 130 pounds, 18 to 25 years of age. He was wearing gray sweat pants, a two tone black and gray long sleeve shirt, and black shoes.

On Wednesday, December 25, 2013, at 11:30 a.m., three unknown subjects entered the Chevron Food Store at 1615 W. Memorial Boulevard. The suspects followed the victim from the store, robbing him at gunpoint in front of 1701 W. Parker Street, taking his cash and wedding band.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect #1 — black male, approximately 5’10-6’1, 20-25 YOA, medium to thin build, wearing a long sleeved black top (owner advised black appears as purple tint on their cameras), camouflage long pants, and black tennis shoes. At the time of the robbery, the victim advised the suspect wasn’t wearing black rimmed glasses, as pictured. the suspect yielded a large semi-automatic handgun. A live .45 caliber bullet was located near the robbery location.

Suspect #2 — black male, wearing a red shirt, black pants and shoes.

Suspect #3 — white female, long dark hair, wearing a pink Nike shirt, pink and black shoes with tattoos on her lower back and upper left arm.
