BOEDICKER QUALIFIES TO RUN FOR LAKELAND AT LARGE CITY COMMISSION SEAT |
LAKELAND, FL (September 30, 2009) Rusty Boedicker recently qualified with the City of Lakelands Clerk and has officially announced his decision to run for Lakeland City Commission as a representative for the at large seat. I will never vote to raise taxes and I will never vote to lay anyone off due to budget cuts, said Boedicker. I believe we need to concentrate on revitalization. He added, If I am elected, I will bring an economic development plan designed to create jobs and I promise to welcome the voice of the average citizen to express their concerns involving issues with Lakeland Electric. Boedicker embraces several messages in his campaign including a commitment to serve others, a vow to better the community and he has pledged to act as a catalyst for change in local government. Boedicker has an Associate Degree from Tampa College as a paralegal and he is a licensed realtor with Plantation Realty. He is a member of the Lions Club and a past board member of the Lakeland Association of Realtors. Boedicker was recognized and appointed to the 2009 Keller Williams Associate Leadership Council and he is a member of the Kathleen Community Church. Boedicker is a sponsor and plays adult league softball at Southwest complex. -END-
