Notice is hereby given that the City of Lakeland Canvassing Board will convene on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Immediately following the Certification of the Election at Election Headquarters, 250 S Broadway, Bartow. The purpose of the meeting is to select a precinct for the manual audit and to conduct a manual audit of the voting system used in that precinct.
Anyone deciding to appeal a decision by the Canvassing Board on the above subject matter at these meetings will need a record of the proceedings and, for purposes of that appeal, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be made.
