| Library Extends its Saturday Hours |

LAKELAND, FL (September 15, 2006) Visiting the Library on Saturday just got a bit easier. The Larry R. Jackson Branch Library, located at 1700 North Florida Avenue, has expanded its Saturday hours of operation from 9am 5pm every Saturday, except holidays.
The library has been open from 10am 2pm on Saturdays, but has extended its hours to better serve the community. In the interest of serving the public, we are excited to provide a full day of Library services on Saturday, says Lisa Lilyquist, City Librarian.
The Lakeland Public Main Branch library is also open on Saturdays from 9am- 5pm.
