Citrus Connection Moves Closer To Full Service Restoration

LAKELAND (Sept. 14, 2017) – Citrus Connection will operate fare-free Friday and will add five more routes to its limited fixed-route schedule moving closer to complete service restoration. The limited schedule Friday will include six routes in Lakeland, four in Winter Haven and two east Polk routes.

Lakeland Routes

  • Route 1 (South Florida Corridor) starting at 6:15 a.m. running hourly.
  • Route 3 (Lakeland Hills Corridor) starting at 6:15 a.m. from the Lakeland Terminal running hourly.
  • Route 12 (Lakeland/Winter Haven Connector) starting at 6:15 a.m. from the Lakeland Terminal running on a two-hour frequency.
  • Route 15 (Kathleen/Providence/Harden) starting at 6:15 a.m. from Lakeside Village running on a two-hour frequency.
  • Route 22XL (Lakeland/Bartow Express) starting at 5:55 a.m. from the Lakeland Terminal running 90-minute frequency.
  • Route 45 (George Jenkins-Swindell) starting at 6:15 starting at the Lakeland Terminal running hourly.

Winter Haven Routes

  • Route 15 (Winter Haven/Haines City) stating at 5:45 a.m. from the Winter Haven Terminal running on a 90-minute frequency.
  • Route 22XW (Winter Haven/Bartow Express) starting at 5:45 a.m. from the Winter Haven Terminal running on a 90-minute frequency.     
  • Route 30 (Legoland) stating at Eagle Ridge Mall at 6:15 a.m. running on two-hour frequency.
  • Route 40/44 (Winter Haven Southside) starting at 5:45 a.m. from the Winter Haven Terminal running at a 90-minute frequency

East Polk Routes 

  • Route 416 (Haines City/Poinciana) operated by Lynx will run on its regular schedule
  • Route 427 (US 27/Haines City) operated by Lynx will run on its regular schedule
