Can You Help Identify These Attempted Armed Car Jacking Suspects?

On July 9, 2019, at approximately noon, the suspects pictured attempted an armed carjacking in front of a Ben's Paint Supply store on Gary Road. The suspects were two black males approximately 5'7", 150 lbs., wearing all black clothing with handkerchief's covering their nose/mouths. The suspects were armed with AK 47s and traveling in a black or dark charcoal gray GMC Acadia. No one was injured and the suspects left the area in the Acadia.

Last night the Acadia was spotted by Polk County Sheriff's Office deputies in the Combee area. The vehicle fled the area and was found a short time later abandoned, parked at Crystal Hills Loop. Lakeland Officers assisted PCSO in setting up a perimeter in the area, however, no suspects were located.

If you have any information that might help identify or locate these two suspects, please contact Detective Ted Sealey at 863.834.5991 or to remain anonymous, contact Heartland Crime Stoppers Florida.
