City Attorney Timothy McCausland Retires

LAKELAND, FL (October 11, 2019) | The City of Lakeland has received a letter of retirement from City Attorney Tim McCausland. The letter was delivered first thing this morning, effective immediately.
The City Attorney is an employee of the City Commission, so any disciplinary procedures would have to be initiated by them. Assistant City Attorney Palmer Davis will be overseeing the Department at this time. Any discussion involving acting or interim will officially be done at the next City Commission meeting.
