LAKELAND, FL ( September 27, 2019) - On September 27, 2019, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Lakeland Police officers responded to a serious traffic crash at the intersection of South Florida Avenue (SR 37) and West Alamo Drive. Prior to the crash, a Kawasaki ZX-6R motorcycle, driven by 24-year-old Jarrod Naberhaus, was traveling southbound on SR 37 in the outside lane. At the same time, a 2015 Toyota Highlander, driven by 72-year-old Kristina Giordano, was traveling north on SR 37, in the left turn lane. Both the north and southbound lanes had solid green lights.
