Seeking Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash

Traffic investigators are looking for a vehicle involved in a traffic crash on Sunday, December 13, 2020, near the 7600 block of State Road 33 and Interstate Four. It is believed the vehicle is a gray/blue 2007 – 2010 Hyundai Elantra. The car will have heavy damage to the driver’s side and missing door glass. The photos shown are NOT the actual vehicle.

On December 13, 2020, shortly after 11:00 am, a 1993 Harley Davidson motorcycle was traveling northbound on State Road 33, approaching the westbound ramp of I-4. As the Harley Davidson was approaching the intersection, a gray/blue compact sedan was traveling westbound on the westbound off-ramp of I-4. The sedan approached the posted stop sign and was reported to have rolled through the sign, never coming to a complete stop. The driver, described as a male with a medium complexion, crossed onto State Road 33 with the intention of turning left onto State Road 33. The operator of the Harley Davidson applied the brakes when he began to skid a short distance. The operator then laid the motorcycle down on the left side and began to slide. The Harley Davidson slid and subsequently impacted the driver’s side of the sedan. The sedan stopped for a moment and then fled the scene traveling onto the westbound on-ramp of I-4 and then onto I-4. The operator of the Harley Davidson was transported to LRH in with serious injuries.
