LAKELAND ELECTRIC UTILITIES ROAD CLOSURE - ROBSON STREET AND NORTH FLORIDA AVENUE
LAKELAND, FL (November 27, 2006) -- Beginning Wednesday, November 29, through Friday, December 15, 2006, during the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., the City of Lakeland Department of Electric Utilities will alternate closing:
Robson St. between Lakeland Hills Blvd. and N. Florida Ave.
N. Florida Ave. from Griffin Rd. to Robson St.
Lakeland Electric will have heavy equipment on Robson St. and N. Florida Ave. for the purpose of setting concrete poles and power lines.
This work is necessary to continue to provide electricity safely and reliably to customers. The detour route will be clearly marked with the appropriate signs and barricades to assist with an orderly flow of traffic. Robson St. and N. Florida Ave. will be open to local traffic.
