Recently the Florida State Legislature mandated cities and counties to cut their property taxes by rolling back millage rates. Some of those tax dollars assisted in the operation of this facility. In compliance with the State of Florida Legislature and the City of Lakeland Commission, the rental fee policy has been restructured.

Coleman Bush Building
The Coleman-Bush Building provides office spaces, recreational classes, special events, meeting rooms and short term rental opportunities. A dance studio is also on site. Historically significant, the Coleman-Bush Building houses two permanent historical exhibits in the lobby and provides access to Jackson Park, the site of the Jackson Memorial Trail.
