The Facilities Maintenance Division provides maintenance, construction, janitorial, safety and fire suppression system support services for the City’s 186 facilities. These services include structural, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, roofing, physical security, and fire suppression systems. Facilities Maintenance maintains approximately 2,700,000 square feet of various building space and performs over 4000 work orders per year with a staff of 53 full time employees.

Our mission statement is: To provide facility maintenance support services to the City’s facilities and structures to achieve their maximum expected design life and to insure a safe environment for the public and the City of Lakeland employees.
