October 17, 2011, City Commission voted to remain collecting garbage in alleys for those customers that have alley service. New specialized alley collection equipment that is semi-automated will be purchased using reserves. There will be no changes in EZCan pricing scehdules for at least two years so cusomters will be able to choose a 35 gallon at $13.50/month, 65 gallon at $14.50/month or 95 gallon cart at $15.50/month.
