The City is implementing Automated Trash Collection in phases over the next four years.  For those of you still receiving manual trash collection, this section applies.

Residential customers are provided twice a week solid waste pickup on either Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday.

Please call to arrange pick up of tires.

Solid Waste should be placed at the curb after 6:00 p.m. the day before or prior to 6:00 a.m.

Place your container(s) adjacent to the curb, away from telephone poles, mail boxes, parked cars or other objects that may obstruct the view of the collection crew.

Please use a 35 gallon trash container with handles and lids or plastic bags. Filled containers must not exceed 50 pounds.

If you are a seasonal resident you may be eligible for a seasonal rate.

Special Pickups
Furniture, such as mattresses, box springs, bed frames, couches, chairs, and other household items, may be placed curbside with the rest of your garbage. If you have more than 4 large household items, please call 834-8773 to arrange for a special pickup. You may also e-mail your request.
