Welcome to Southern Landing
The 2-acre man-made wetland captures 60 acres of stormwater runoff to help reduce pollutants from entering Lake Hollingsworth. Two deep bays receive runoff and then flow across shallow marshy shelves planted with aquatic vegetation. The plants and wetland soils play an important role in filtering additional pollutants from the stormwater before discharging into the lake. |
