Request for Quotation
The City of Lakeland at it sole discretion reserves the right to waive technicalities or irregularities, to reject any or all quotes, and/or to accept the quote which is in the best interest of the City.  There is no obligation to buy. The request for quotation may be awarded based on various considerations, other than total cost, including but not limited to: bidder experience and/or qualifications, quality of materials, services or goods, past experience, administrative cost, standardization and whether the quote, in the judgement of the City, is the most responsive to City needs. The City is authorized by Resolution No. 3634 to give preference to local persons, firms or corporations, in an amount of two percent (2%) not to exceed $10,000 of the quoted price.
