| | Karen Lukhaub - Director of Risk Management | Karen Lukhaub has been employed with the City of Lakeland since October 20, 1988 . She has been the Director of Risk Management since January 1, 2001 . As Director of Risk Management she is responsible for all duties of the Risk Management Department and its employees. These responsibilities include overseeing the City's Worker's Compensation program, Auto and General Liabilities; as well as all City Insurance policies, Contractors' insurances, Safety and Employee and Retiree insurances. She has an open door policy for all employees.

| | James Olds - Safety Manager | James Olds has been employed with the City of Lakeland since March 17, 1995 as the Safety Manager and Emergency Management Coordinator. He is responsible for the overall safety program including site surveys, training, and management consultation, developing training programs and overseeing implementation of various programs, ensuring employees have proper equipment and safety education needed to perform their job, investigating all accidents that occur on City property. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of emergency management operations for the entire City.

| | Bryan Riley - Health Benefits Coordinator | | Bryan Riley has been employed with the City of Lakeland since March 31, 2003 as the Health Benefits Coordinator. His responsibilities include coordinating claims made under the City's group health/life insurance, working with employees/retirees concerning their insurance benefits, supervising benefits enrollment, working with Third Party Administrators, actuaries, and medical review agencies, HIPAA Privacy Official, as well as overseeing Long Term Disability, Dental, Vision, and the Employee Assistance Program. |

| | Barbara Jordan - Occupation Health Nurse | | Barbara Jordan has been employed with the City of Lakeland since June 14, 1993 as the Occupational Heath Nurse. Her responsibilities include coordination of City employees’ work-related injuries, administering first aid when possible, performing physicals of all pre-employment persons, providing specialty physicals required by the City such as: ERT, asbestos, and firefighter physicals, organizing and overseeing flu shots, random and mandatory drug screenings, working with patients, physicians, and the City’s Third Party Administrator when facilitating Workers’ Compensation. |

| | Sandra Cochran - Executive Assistant | | Sandy Cochran has been employed with the City of Lakeland since January 18, 1994 . Her responsibilities include special projects assigned by the Director, reviewing contracts and insurance requirements, working with the actuaries, auditors, and insurance brokers. She attends mediations and depositions at the request of the Director. |

| | Laura Conrad - Administrataive Assistant | | Laura Conrad has been employed with the City of Lakeland since July 15, 1996 . She is secretary to the Director. Her responsibilities also include the coordination of claims involving citizens, vehicular accidents involving City vehicles and citizens, recovery of lost revenue due to City incidents. She also works closely with the Executive Assistant and coordinates the daily functions of the support staff as needed. |

| | Adena Kniss - Office Associate II | | Adena Kniss has been employed with the City of Lakeland since October 16, 2006. She is the assistant to the Health Benefit's Coordinator, and her duties include daily guidance to active employees/retirees/dependents regarding benefit utilization and liaison with benefit vendors. She assists with the annual benefit's enrollment and employee/retiree health fair. |

| | Santina Goodwin - Office Associate II | | Santina Goodwin has been employed with the City of Lakeland since February 5, 2007. Her responsibilities include assisting the Safety Manager in administrative duties, filing documents, completing reports, scheduling employee training, and conducting checks of employees' driver's licenses. |

| | Karininia Haas- Office Associate II | | Karininia has been employed with the City of Lakeland since July 12, 2001. Since September 30, 2007 she has worked in the City Nurse's office. Her job responsibilities include assisting employees, prepare and transmit Worker's Compensation documentation and statistics to the Third Party Administrator, pre-employment, ERT, asbestos and firefighter physicals. She also assists with flu shots, manadatory CDL drug screenings and hearing screens. |

| | Christian Kaelin - Safety Coordinator | | Chris Kaelin has been employed with the City of Lakeland since September 13, 1999 . His responsibilities include Safety Officer for Energy Delivery, Customer and Field Service, and Public Works. He conducts safety and technical training, first aid classes, and Emergency Response Training, as well as on-site work inspections. Chris also serves as the Assistant Emergency Operations Coordinator. |

His responsibilities include Safety Officer for Energy Supply including safety and technical training, on-site plant and emergency response, providing resource and guidance through safety issues. |

His responsibilities include Energy Delivery, Field Services, and Fleet Management. He conducts safety and technical training, job-site inspections, emergency response assistance, as well as providing resources and guidance on all safety related issues. |

Her responsibilities include verifying certificates of insurance for vendors as well as making certain that coverage for insurance vendors is current prior to processing service requisitions. |

| | Keith Allen - Summit Adjuster | | Keith Allen is an employee of Summit Consulting, the City's Third Party Administrator for the City's auto and general liability claims. Keith serves as the adjuster assigned to the City of Lakeland with his office located in Risk Management. He is readily available to meet the City's needs and to work with the Director and Risk Management staff. His responsibilities are to investigate all motor vehicular accidents involving City vehicles, power surges, and accidents to citizens' property for which the City might be held responsible. |
