Lakeland Is Great... Because of Its Volunteers!

When you volunteer, you are giving something back to your community by lending a helping hand to people and organizations. What you may not realize is that volunteering also benefits you as an individual.

The City of Lakeland offers volunteer opportunities for both teens and adults.

  • Being a volunteer allows you to:
  • Make new friends
  • Explore career and personal interests
  • Earn great recommendations for future employment or college applications
  • Uncover hidden skills and talents
  • Meet service hour requirements
  • Have fun
  • Make a difference

The City of Lakeland wants you and we have many areas of interest for you to volunteer. From public safety to our beautiful parks - YOU can make a difference!
