Station Tours are one of our favorite ways to interact with the community we serve. Enjoy this personal tour with Firefighters Kyle Davis and Ronnie Alcocer as they show you around the department's largest and most visited station, Fire Station 1.
Visiting the Fire Station:
All seven of Lakeland's fire stations are open to the public, Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Scheduling a guided tour is not required for individuals and small groups (six people or less). You are welcome to stop by to meet your community firefighters, learn more about the department, and check out the department's apparatus and equipment.
For Groups (seven people or more):
Get an up-close look at the fire engines and the fire station to learn more about how firefighters live and respond to emergencies. You’ll learn more about the special gear the firefighters wear to fight fires and how they use their equipment to effectively help in medical emergencies and fire incidents.
Groups are typically invited to visit Station 1, located at 701 East Main Street, but tours at other station locations can be arranged. Tours last approximately 40-60 minutes.
