Commissioner Selvage will be sworn in on Friday, November 2nd before the regularly scheduled Agenda Study.

At approximately 3:15 PM on October 22nd, the City of Lakeland received a hand-delivered letter signed by Michael Dunn tendering his resignation as a Commissioner of the SW District of Lakeland effective October 20, 2018. City Attorney Tim McCausland said, "The resignation is effective upon receipt."
The 38th Annual Swan Roundup took place on October 23rd & 24th on Lake Morton. Our 70+ swans were carefully gathered and given their annual veterinary check-ups by Dr. Patricia Mattson and her team from Companion Animal Hospital. The Annual Swan Round-Up allows the City’s Parks and Recreation Department to closely monitor the health and vitality of Lakeland’s swan population.
