Where: S Kentucky Avenue between Main Street and Lemon Street

LAKELAND, FL (January 8, 2019) | The Wastewater Collection Division of Water Utilities will be performing repairs on the sewer main along South Kentucky Avenue between East Main Street and East Lemon Street starting at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14th. It is anticipated that the repair work will last through the afternoon of Friday, January 18th

In order to complete the sanitary sewer repair work, South Kentucky Avenue will be closed between East Main Street and East Lemon Street. Based on preliminary review, the repair work will take place primarily in the roadway so adjacent sidewalks will be open for pedestrian use. The road closure will remain in place on a 24-hour basis until the repair is completed. Detours will be clearly marked to least impact businesses and vehicular traffic.
