Adult Sewing 101 Series
For adults ages 18+ who are new to sewing or need a refresher, join us for a free three-class hands-on beginner sewing series at the Lakeland Public Library to gain experience and confidence with machine- and hand-sewing. The classes will be from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM each evening in the Meeting Room from Monday, May 18th through Wednesday, May 20th.
- Class One (5/18): Get to know the sewing machine and basic tools, learn to thread the machine, and sew straight seams
- Class Two (5/19): Cutting and working with fabric (Day 1 of two-part project)
- Class Three (5/20): Sewing with a zipper and working with different material (Day 2 of two-part project)
Seating is limited and registration is required and will open Monday, May 11th at 5:30 PM.
