Aquí, cada libro es una puerta abierta a nuevas ideas, culturas y emociones, transformando la experiencia de leer en un viaje compartido. ¡Ven y sé parte de una biblioteca que respira, escucha y conecta! La biblioteca viva se reune el segundo martes a las 5:30 PM de cada mes en la biblioteca principal de Lakeland.

Walk with Ease

Motivate yourself and others while learning how to walk safely and improve your strength. Join BayCare and the Lakeland Public Library for an exercise program to walk and feel better! This program runs for three weeks, three times a week and includes a one-hour walk around beautiful Lake Morton.

Walk with Ease will meet in The Commons every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from March 2nd through March 19th, from 11 AM to 1 PM each session. Ages 18+.

Hearing Screening with Central Florida Speech & Hearing Center

Hop aboard the Communication Station with the Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center for a free ear check-up extravaganza! Just bring your ID and your lovely ears for a sound evaluation adventure. Hearing tests will be conducted in a CFSHC bus that will be parked at the Lakeland Public Library on Thursday, March 5th from 10 AM to 2 PM.

No registration required. This event is for ages 18+

Preschool Storytimes at Lakeland Libraries

All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes, and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.
