    Giving Tree Drum Circle

    Get ready to drum, dance, and make some noise! Join Giving Tree Music, Watson Clinic Foundation, and Lakeland Public Library on Wednesday, July 29th at 10 AM at the Lakeland Public Library for an exciting family drumming experience that's sure to get everyone moving. Participants will learn how making music impacts health and will have the chance to play an instrument, creating music together in an energetic, interactive drum circle. Whether you're keeping the beat or discovering a new instrument, this hands-on program is a wonderful way to connect through the power of rhythm.

    No registration required. All ages welcome.

    Summer Reading Programs 2026

    Join us for a dino-mite time during our Summer at the Museum and roar into summer reading! Explore the possibilities with a summer of challenges, crafts, prizes, and new discoveries!

    June 1st - July 24th

    Children ages 0-12 can participate in the Kids' Summer Reading Program, "Reading Roars!" for prehistoric adventures.
    Adults and teens ages 13+ can register for the Adult and Teen Summer Reading Program, "Summer at the Museum" and journey through the galleries to explore the world from prehistory to the edge of tomorrow.
