MISCELLANEOUS MANUSCRIPTS COLLECTION The Miscellaneous Manuscripts Collection consists of a number of small collections (one or a few items) donated over several years to the Special Collections unit of the Lakeland Public Library. The collections include such items as cigar box and band labels from Orlando and Tampa cigar factories, a copy of the Polk County Charter, and items relating to such local political figures as Florida governors Park Trammell and Spessard Holland. Many, though not all, of the items are printed or published materials. The individual collections have been arranged alphabetically by name or title and are linked to a page which includes general description of the collection, its provenance, and its contents. |
