This is NOT your Mother’s Book Club! Join your favorite librarians at the Lakeland Public Library on December 2nd at 5:30 PM to discuss "Wreck the Halls" by Tessa Bailey. Each month, we will explore new genres, share recommendations, and make friends.
The Sweet & Spicy Book Club meets at the Lakeland Public Library on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. This event is for ages 18+. No registration required.
Get into the holiday spirit at the our Ugly Sweater Party! Wear your best (or worst!) holiday sweater and join us for a jolly afternoon of creativity and fun on Saturday, December 6th at 2PM in the Lakeland Public Library Meeting Room. We’ll be painting wooden Christmas village houses to add a touch of homemade holiday charm while we jingle and mingle. All craft materials are included, but feel free to bring your favorite festive sweater flair!
This event is for ages 18+. Registration is not required, but space is limited to first come first serve for the craft.

Registration is required and opens on Wednesday, December 3rd at 5 PM. This class is for ages 15+.
All three Lakeland Library locations have preschool storytimes for children ages 2-5 and their grownups! With stories, songs, rhymes, and activities, storytimes promote the development of preliteracy, verbal and listening skills, and socio-emotional skills.
