ALPHA RESINS CORPORATION OF LAKELAND, FLORIDA (MISC. MANUSCRIPTS) 1967-1989

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
Alpha Resins Corporation was built in 1967 at 4620 N. Galloway Rd. It produced unsaturated polyester resins for manufacturers of fiberglass boats, shower stalls, and cultured marble uses.

This collection consists of a Remedial Investigation Report submitted to the Florida Department of Environmental Regulation on August 29, 1986 (in a loose leaf binder), three folders of Administrative Records (Document Nos. ALF 001 001-1536) which are a compilation of all relevant key documents for the Environmental Protection Agency's National Priority List of Superfund sites, a final draft of Endangerment Assessment, October 16, 1986, and a Five Year Review of the Alpha Chemical Company site (EPA ID# 041495441) dated September 2, 1998.

The International Technology Corporation of Knoxville, Tennessee concluded: "The potential for adverse health and environmental effects to occur as a result of chemicals identified in alpha Resins RI report is remote."
